I need some facts.

My brother and father won't beleive me that many men are trusted less and complained about if they work as teachers or helpers in primary schools and that many are fired. So, I need some articles or links to prove to them that it does happen.

Erm, Most people look at men as Pedophiles, i was picking my brother up from school, I was about 15 at the time, He was in lower school, and i was waiting with the parents of other kids, and i kept getting stared at. Eventaully got asked to wait outside the school gates, even though i was a pupil there years ago... Bah.

which country are from? I studied educational science and i know several primary school teachers; it is right that there are alot more women working there (around 80-90% in Germany) but this has nothing to do with mistrust or whatever. In fact male teacher are encouraged to study it, because a lack of male teachers also means a lack of male role models in the socialization process during the time. This is the case in many middle european countries

The reason why there are less male teachers working there are: less social prestige, lower salery and less promotion prospects... Most of the men go for a job in a high school or academic high school (like i did...)
