Before I get started I should let you all know I'm only 15 so maybe I heard it wrong or I don't have all the facts because this is a family matter and they might be keeping things from me to protect me but I need some advice anyway.

My cousin is an air stewardess and she was on a holiday. She was off duty and while on holiday and I think she was a little tipsy on the plane, I don't know I might have heard it wrong, she was totally in control of her actions though she wasn't proper drunk. Her friend however was wasted and pinched a male stewardess's arse. My cousin went to see if he was okay, she apoligised for her friend and told him she knows what it's like because she's an air stewardess as well. But the guy blew what she said way out of proportion. She was being accused of harrasing cabin crew when it ws all her nobhead friend. My cousin, doing the smart thing, took a bunch of witness statements & phone numbers from witnesses who can vouch for her innocence. Her life has been turned upside down. This could go on her resume & deny her future jobs and lose her this one (She works for a different airline btw). She went to a meeting to discuus her status & the claims were insane. They said she demanded free food and drinks and was shouting and being rude throughout the whole flight and that her friend grabbed the air stewardess guy's penis. Dosen't that count as rape. The people in charge let those lying fucks give false evidence but refused to take witness statements from my cousin. She wants to resign but is still trying to save her job.

Please people, I'm begging, is there any legal advice you can give to help out. I don't care if this is in the wrong section and I'm not here to ***** just please give some constructive advice.

First things first, contact the better business bureau (or its equivalent in whatever country your cousin resides in). You can make a case for a hostile steward (which even if it doesn't hold up in court, does damage his case insofar as character in the main suit).

Secondly, bring up the fact that the people in charge denied your cousin's statements and those of witnesses. This is an important point to bring up to the police.

Thirdly, (and I cannot stress this enough) remain calm yourself. You cousin sounds like she needs a cold voice of reason, and may already be doing enough panicking for the both of you. Stay cool.

Best thing for her to do is get a lawyer in this case. Such blatant accusations against her will not hold up but its best if she had real legal help, not us.
