i guess its plumbing...dont really know what else to call it.

I'm making a project and i know what i want but i don't know anywhere to find these things or if they even exist.

The first being an attachment to a water tank to split the water 4 ways so i can attach a pipe to each having 4 equal pipes of flowing water from one source.

The second being a contraption to measure the volume of water that has passed through it, it needs to be able to be reset and doesnt need to measure over 5 litres.

I have googled and googled and it has yielded nothing, im running very low on ideas so i thought i might ask here considering we have quite an inteligent community. I have been able to find everything else i need but these 2 are giving me hell.

I think the first one you're looking for is a cross pipe. Something like this, right?

Call Mario!

In all seriousness, good luck to you, I know a plumber, but we're not well acquainted. I know absolutely nothing about plumbing.

Very similar, if it has another hole on the back where i cant see in the picture then yeah thats it, something that would take from 1 and put out from 4, so 5 holes in total.

Hmmm. My dad knows a little about plumbing. I'll ask him about it when he wakes up.

lol, unless anyone on here is a plumber I think you'll find we know probably less than you. When I was doing a project which involved pipes I fortunately discovered there was a plumbing supplies shop in my town and the guy there helped me out with what I needed (which was a lot simpler than your request). So what I'm saying is call a specialist.

But I think what you want is a T junction coming from the water pipe with two T junctions attached to either end and facing the other way, then two normal 90 degree corners on the ends.

If you can try and picture that...

Yeah, he doesn't think that sort of attachment even exists. You would have to combine certain other attachments to a cross pipe.
