I need to wright a bill for class

I am in an American government class and we have been given an assignment to wright a bill, and my teacher has given me nothing on how to write a bill. does any one on the Escapist know how to write one?

Hate to state the obvious, why not look at an existing bill for structure, language etc. then apply that to your own bill.

If you don't have a bill to write about why not do:

A bill to revoke the independence of the United States of America from Great Britain.

EDIT: Don't forget to contact lobbyists to give you money and other benefits for your support. Without that trademark first world corruption to leave a bitter taste in voters mouths you might as well study non-US politics.

What kind of bill? Local governments, the US Senate, all use different sorts of bills.
I'd assume you could hit up wikipedia to find a famous bill passed through senate or two, look them up online, and compare them to learn structure.

Bunck Misspeaks a lot. Its a congressional bill, we are choosing house of representatives members, which is congress. Not Senate, wait you should be doing that right now. Why are you on here?
