I need your help on finding something...

I remember quite a while back finding a cartoon on YouTube. It wasn't meant to be funny or anything it was more like poetry and hard to understand the meaning of. I want to find this cartoon again because it was pretty gnarly.

The recognizable features:
crude drawing
references to the number 8 or 4
the symbol for infinity (maybe)
A lost/dead brother
A dark lake with a old tree beside it.
I believe one of the other videos on the animators channel is a X factor-esque cartoon but with robots. And the main part of that video is a song one of the robots does.

I know this might be quite vague but I really want to find that cartoon again. So if you know anything similar, please reply to this thread.

Was it 2d or 3d or mixed media? How long was it roughly? Any characters or objects that are key to its plot/meaning? It would take forever to sieve through youtube without specifics.

It was a story, it was something like a guy lost his brother in some lake in the woods and the water was black. But that's about as much as I can remember. I also really vividly remember a clock with four hands of equal size pointing to where 3, 6, 9 and 12 would be but they all said 4 instead.

anyway, I know this isn't it, but searching could take a while. I recomend just looking at stop motion videos and searching through the related videos.

I'm not sure that it'd help but I believe the animator was on an animating course at the time.
