Hi.

Look, I'm gonna cut to the chase. I need a fun, easy to play, free, MMO that, hopefully, other escapees play.

I have tried Dungeon Fighter Online, and I was turned off by the fact that all the characters looked exactly the same, I have tried Maple Story, but the game is rather difficult to play. (In terms of item management, ect.)I have tried Adventure Quest Worlds, and that one kept me occupied for nearly 6 months, but lets face it, its very very small.

I have been looking in to DDO, but I dont know anyone who plays it.

SO!

Please recomend me a MMO that:
Is fun (Duh)
Easy to play and to get into
Is free
Is a western game (So no crappy English translation yes? Your welcome yes.)
OPTIONAL: That other members of the escapist play, hopefully one with a user group.

Thanks guys/gals.

I love you all,
-The Austin

Edit: No Runescape, and if your only here to comment on the capital letters, than you aren't clever, funny, or....clever.

No, do not.

Seriously people, rules 39 & 40 of the internet!

I'm super serial.

Don't play an MMO. They always get boring.

I have a couple friends that play DDO and they love the damn thing, can't get them off it. I'm pretty sure its eating their souls.
Anyway, I'd say try that. Although you do need to group a lot I think which could get a bit hard, and boring for you if you don't know anyone.

Also, did you know that Capslock is an annogram of Cock Slap?

I'm sorry, you haven't completed the quest for this guild. Please take care of that and come back for your recommendation.

Why don't you just look up a big MMO group and ask them?
I'll take it i'm the only one who resisted the temptation of yelling things in caps? I go through all the trouble of avoiding this topic earlier just to come back and find "NO CAPS, THEY IS BAD" posts everywhere.

A fun MMO? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
well, dropping that obvious impossibility, I reccomend Runes of Magic.
It's as good as WoW in most ways, and has a better crafting and pvp system.
it has an absurd amount of quests; you know how in most MMOs an area has however many quests you should do to reach the level you need to to move on? well, in RoM, every area has far more quests than you'll ever actually do, so you can come back later.
It has a dual class system.
It's UI is GOOD! (which is an incredible feat for a free MMO) It has basically the exact same UI as WoW, with a few pleasant additions.

DO IT. CAPSLOCK MAKES RUNESCAPE BETTER!

In all honesty, Runescape has amazing quests.
My favorite is "Find the ingredients to bake a cake". Sooo epic!

Runescape. Face it.

EDIT: oh you dont like runescape. Congradulations all that is left is Habbo hotel.

You have some really hard demands to fufill. There are no Free MMORPGS other than the formers.

I played Requiem: Bloodymare for a bit. It has beautiful graphics, a ragdoll and dismemberment system, and was fairly fun. The only drawback is that you have to pay a monthly fee if you want to use general chat, which is pretty essential for grouping. Otherwise I'd say go with Runes of Magic.

WE LIEK CAPZ!!!!1!!!!111!! I know I'm not funny, but dammit I'm bored.

OT- Hm..

Free MMO's are hard to come by these days.
Well, good ones anyways..

Most likely DDO, because everyone I know that plays it fell in love with it.

I personally didn't like it, because I prefer the tabletop version =p

The problem I found I had with MMOs is that when I played them they tended to monopolize my game time, leaving all these other great games on the store racks.

One of my gaming highlights is quitting wow, not because I felt justified or better doing so, but because when I did I realized the MASSIVE amount of great single player games I had in front of me.

I've tried a bunch of MMOs, & the only one I really enjoyed was Trickster. It's 1000 times better than Maple Story & it's pseudo-#D, so you aren;t limited to left & right. You can do a hell of a lot more in it too, like drilling or disguising yourself as a pet or monster so you can mess with other players by getting them to chase you or try to attack you. It's free, good for grouping or soloing.

Looking forward to DCUniverse Online when it's finnaly out. Probably won't be free though...

"EVEN WITH CRUISE CONTROL, YOU STILL HAVE TO STEER" - Rule #40.

"CAPSLOCK IS AN ANAGRAM FOR COCKSLAP" - 4chan.

Face it: writing title of a thread fully in caps is not a brightest idea. You could just edit the title, y' know.

I can't recommend an MMO to you, but Torchlight is a pretty good RPG... and they told something about online capability being planned.
