Okay, for realz, the demo was alright. But there are two things glaringly wrong with the game:

*sigh* Regenerating health...

-and-

...Halo/CoD-style Two Guns At a Time Arbitrary Weapon Carrying Limit Because Itz Teh Realistic or some shit.

Seriously, WTF? If Gordon Freeman can carry a dozen guns and a crowbar, then Duke can carry *at least* a dozen AND his beer, since he doesn't need a crowbar, he has his fists. And his foot.

Anyway here's hoping someone mods the game to increase the weapon limit.

That's a shame. Only two weapons? The Duke has mighty guns (muscles) to carry many a weapon and pack lunch.

I have not got any high hopes for the game, but more a morbid curiosity to play it. I gave up any hopes for it after the change to the Unreal engine.

I think in an interview they said 12-18 hours long, 12 being for the devs doing a speed run.

OT: I am STILL convinced that this is some marketing ploy, and that when the game comes out, Duke will have an entire armory to boot.

My complaints exactly. They could've had a wheel or soemthing, but they blame low amount of weapons on low amount of console buttons. And Duke Nukem is supposed to be silly and self proclaimed awesome, why do I have to hide behind a rock every three seconds? And the fun weapons just take up space because they don't instant kill and have very little ammo.

I think they said about 15-20 hours campaign.

Yes, but there's a demo for first access members. People who preordered or got Borderlands GOTY Edition.

Well Duke got old, arthritis is kicking in and he just can't kick ass like he used to, he also has trouble with his sight it's gone all brown and gray.

the two weapon thing blows ass, but I really could not care less about the regenerating health bar. we knew that was coming anyway. from what i understood though it regened based on feats of over hyped masculinity, like taking a piss, or beating a punching bag, lifitng waits or *ahem* getting your oil changed by an anxious woman.

I've already seen this thread before OP... As I saw that DNF has now been leaked I thought maybe you might have played the full game, pirated. But if it's just the same complaints about the demo...? Old news...

15-20 hours is darn decent for FPS of today...for a game of yesteryear, if you know what I mean.

Is a bit sad about the boot though. Many hours of fun in my youth kicking space pig cops in the face or my brother in-law in multiplayer games.
