I-Pod help

ok, no comments about getting another player, but i jsut gpot an i-pod shuffle, and upon connecting it to my com, its not registering in itunes or anything, and the little charge light flashes 3 times and thats it. little help if possible.

Try making sure the docking whatsit is connected properly, or hold your ipod down. I had to do that with mine.

Try it on another pc. If it still not work then its just defective. If it does work, fuck knows. Take it back to the store and ask them.

Sorry this is completely off-topic here but this has been bugging the hell out of me for ages. What is your avatar from?

Try it on a Mac. They have had, and will continue to have, problems with windows bases OSs. Also make sure you have the latest ipod software.[small]and get another player[/small]

is it worth noting that when i pull it out and press play the status light flashes green-orange-green-orange

Means there's nothing on it =/ happened with mine...dunno why it's not connecting though >.>

check your device manager and see if there is any devices with a yellow box and an exclamation mark

if there is then remove it and plug in your ipod again, this is probly the problem the drivers weren't properly installed when you first put it in and now they're borked

but if it means that much you could try calling apple or going into the store
