OT: The only thing that isn't 'Sober Thal' for any of my many accounts, is minecraft. I didn't realize that the user/account name was the in game name too. I used my email, which has my real name, which I don't want to have for minecraft! I wish Notch would let people fix this...

Basically, I have both of these two reasons to not use my real name. No one from the internet is going to stalk me.

Seriously, last quarter in an HONORS class (30 students) someone else in the class had my same first and last name.

Ticket Master and Bird in the Hoof. They even use a modified Benny Hill theme in the background music.

I just don't like complete strangers knowing too much about me, and I think most people who post under a pseudonym do so for that reason.

This is more of the reason I have a posting name. That, and when I was young my parents said not to use my full name online.
