People who try to recommend me Bleach when I ask for something good to watch

People who are being assholes for the prime reason of being an asshole.

People... Just people really with few exeptions. Sturgeon's Law is pretty much in effect on humanity as a whole.
Some people happen to like Bleach -.-

OT: People who don't realise that you are actually doing something for them, and give you a hard time about it. This one time, at work, one of the waitresses is preparing a dessert, and some hot pans are on the surface. Searing hot pans, hot enough to make the water hiss when you put them in, and burn you in a heartbeat. So I say to the girl, "Hey Chloe, 'scuse out the way, I need to move the pans." She ignores me. I say again, "Chloe, could you move, I need to get those pans so you don't get burned". Again, ignores me. At this point I move her out the way, get the pans a plonk them into the water, with a complimentary hiss as they go in to prove my point, all the while she is having a huff and giving me evils because "I barged her out the way and was rude". Stupid chavvy bimbo...

- Edit -

I'm going to snip this wall of text about me feeling sorry for people of the next kind, 'cause I cant be bothered to type it out, yet again.

Its about people who make baseless opinions on things that they do not fully understand, and then are solid as fucking steel about it.

Why not? They are obviously so closed-minded that they're head is like Fort Knox when other people opinions are concerned. I have met people like this, and argued with them to the point of rage, and, in the long term I have ended up feeling so sorry for them. They don't have the option to experience some of life's greatest things, just because they have formed a baseless opinion on it, and won't let anyone sway them on it. Its upsetting that people are even like this, and I ignore they're opinions. But at the same time yes, they are the scourge of the freethinking society, and yet, they should be avoided like the plague. But at they same time, isn't the point of the freethinking society that everyone is allowed they're own opinion, including them? I feel pity for them because they must be so alone, due to the fact that they shut everyone else's thoughts and emotions out and have almost no sense of empathy, and its upsetting. You know, I once asked a guy in class, who is the better musician, Hendrix or Chopin, and do you know what he said? He said Hendrix. That is how shut-off these people can be. Its almost like a disease. The same guy also said that benefits should be scrapped altogether, just because some filth decide to scrounge off it for some extra gadget money. Its things like that which make me rage and feel for them at the same time. He's an intelligent person, as far as academics are concerned, straight-A student, but that's not the only form of intelligence now is it?

I generally dislike people who ask me for an opinion (or overhear my opinion on something), and then get mad at me for having said opinion.

THERE IS A LOT OF THAT IN THIS THREAD, BY THE WAY.

Also, people who object to cosplay, people who are against other people based on things they cannot change (race, gender, sexuality), and people who smack their lips a lot when they eat. That noise drives me crazy!

TWO.
Bahahaha that made my day. Two. Oh the irony.

I can't stand people who think there's such a thing as 'good taste'. There isn't. It's all fucking subjective, get over it, where it = yourself. You CAN still say things are bad, IF judged by certain criteria, but if you enjoy something then by definition you don't give a crap about those criteria.

Also Free-marketeers. Anarchists? Awesome, lovely people. Tend towards the batshit insane end of the spectrum, but in a way that makes them fun to be around. Free-market fanatics are just self-interested, and cynically model their self-interest as an ideology. As though the markets and capitalism itself are anything other than an artificial construct! There is almost nothing about their beliefs that actually hangs together. Ugh.

God made those things, otherwise it would be impossible for us to perform them - they wouldn't exist.

God knows everything, and therefor, before he even made us he knew we would fall from grace. This means when he created AIDS, he knew exactly who would get it and how long it would take to kill them. Same idea with Hell - he made it knowing who would go there.

God isn't my parent. He has the ability to bring us into a perfect world. He didn't.

Your arguments fail.
You didn't deserve a perfect world. Humanity hasn't grown enough, hasn't earned it. What value is a good life if you did nothing to gain it, put forth nothing for it?

If I were in the same position as God, I would reward growth when I see it. Life now is better than ever before, I can only think that we are being granted more as we keep on moving forward. Or, God wanted to see us make lives better for us, which we certainly have.

Parents who make things cushy for their children will just have to deal with parasites until they cut them off, whereupon they'll be unlikely to accomplish much. But, if the parent forces the child to continue to grow stronger until that removal point, then the child will most likely prosper. You don't think the same principle could apply to God?
See that is the problem with some athiests, they believe that god is supposed to be there to do everything for us. They believe he makes us do all of that bad stuff and that people can't do that just for being sick, and if we have a problem that he will just fix it for us.

I agree with your response.

...You four are quick to call a person a troll and get them suspended, but what you don't realize is, you all can be reported for:

A) De-railing a thread

B) Discussing religion in an off-topic thread

C) Trolling ...
I actually didn't report her or call her a troll, and I didn't mean to insinuate she was. I've received nothing from her implying she thought I was trolling her, so I can overall only presume I wasn't.

But I wasn't trying to troll her, only provoke some harder thought on her part. I felt that she made an ignorant statement, so I was trying to figure out her reasoning behind it was for valid reasons that I simply was not aware of, or was due to a lack of different perspectives and reasoning, which I was attempting to share with her.

I do want to say I'm sorry on the point of de-railing the thread though, you are correct on that. I thought that the posts were usually only concerned with her original statement, or the original point being made. I'll make a note of this in the future.

Whatever. She's trashing an entire group of people, and I'm in the wrong. Sure.
That's my point. It's not about who's right and who's wrong. She only started trashing after people went against what she responded to the thread with. The whole point of the thread is to post or discuss what things you can't stand/hate. She followed the rules, and you people are bashing her because you don't like her answer? Not to mention, she's already been suspended for something in this thread (presumably her trash talk), so why continue beating a dead horse? To see if you can get a negative response out of her? So then, who's really the troll?

So if you really want to abide by a black & white sense right and wrong here, then yes, you are in the wrong, from the Escapist rules standpoint. Like I said before, if you don't like it, deal with it on your own time (i.e, hold a discussion over PMs, or make a thread in the religion section of the website).

Another person to be added to this ongoing list. At least this one followed the rules, though.

To be honest, the trolling point was more meant for Kyoufuu than anyone else.

I can understand your point and I commend you for it, but with everyone jumping on the Pirate Kitty lynching bandwagon, I can understand why her responses came as they did. And while I may not necessarily agree with her opinion on the subject, however uninformed it may be, I defend to the death her right to say it...especially here, in this particular thread.

My point still stands. It may not be right, but she's well within her right in this forum to answer the thread with what she pleases as long as it complies with the question or discussion value of the thread (and doesn't break any rules, of course). She may have bashed the group in her follow-up comments, but in her original one, she only states she doesn't like the group. Based on the OP, there's no need for her to give a reason why or to have to answer to someone who disagrees with it (even though she does, quite poorly in some moments I might add).
