Donnie Darko is sick.

However, I really don't like Lord of the Rings.
I really second that, it seemed shit to me. 9 hours I'll never get back.

I don't get all the hype for silent hill games. Sure they're enjoyable but they'll not as close to being God's right bollock as people make out.

What's the deal with Platypi?

Yeah I know! It's like someone took a duck and combined it with a beaver and said "hell why not?"

I'm starting to hope someone comes and locks this thread. Nothing good is spawning from it and people are complaining nonsensically. It's sort of depressing the mindset a few people have here.

I also feel some people should understand that the things they hate don't deserve the hate or are held in high regards to others, thus making the comments offensive. All this hate does is separate people from each other, breaking 'Us' into 'Them' and 'We'. People should act being so immature about things. Hate is a powerful emotion. You can dislike something, but save the hate for those people that run over your dog on purpose.

Any governments, eco-hippies, brainwashing (a.k.a. television) douchebags, chicks who wanna date douchebags, anything that's popular music-wise on the radio, Nazi punks, Emos, haters, rollerskaters, stereotypes, people who are the reason for stereotypes, racists, and general dumbf@*kery.

More than anything I hate people who are ignorant, don't want to be enlightened, and just want to stick their head in the sand and go about their superficial lives.

I don't like people who go on the internet and say that they have large penises or are incredibly intelligent, whether it is true or not isn't the point.

I don't like people who don't care about fun, especially since it's the point of my life.

I don't like games that are mediocre but everyone claims to love them because everyone else does.

I don't understand the point of piercings, I REALLY don't get it.

I dislike people who expect all other people to conform to their view of life and not oppose them.

I dislike politics in general.

I dislike people who like to disagree with me and rub it in my face like an immature brat.

I don't like most people around my age: 13-20, yes i am making it that wide of a range because by the age of twenty usually they either get killed, smarten up on their own, or get a girlfriend/boyfriend to force them into it. Its not the people once you really start talking to them that pisses me off, really most people I can deal with after a time, its the ones who have the media bullshit of almost all kinds ground into their skulls that takes too much time and energy for me to bother getting through most of the time.

Rap for one, honestly how many of you know someone who owns some of the shit we find now-a-days where it is litterally someone either reffering to a gun, a girl(who he will refer to as a ho or a *****/slut), being shot/shooting someone, and lastly money. Now this stuff is taint that needs to be removed from the earth( from my opinion of course and before anyone even thinks of calling me an up-tight catholic, because I have been called that before to my face, I am not one) but really I can ignore it on my own, now when you have say an older brother listening to this and he happens to have a younger brother, what happens then, the majority of younger brothers no matter how much they aren't willing to admit it do look up to their older siblings, I should know been their done that only it was more with a close cousin, anyway, what happens when the crap from this starts becoming common day to the brats, now I can't walk down past my old elementary school without seeing some kid who looks to be about in grade six going on about some "slut" he's after, I'm seriously not bullshitting anyone here, and I live in Canada for reference in one of those nice overly pristine suburbs.

I could keep going but just that has taken up more space then I intended.

YOUR OPINION DOES NOT MATTER
mine doesnt either, so lets have a little "complain yourself silly" thread.
you say what you didnt get/like, and if someone cares theyll reply. if someone doesnt reply... well work it out for yourself
Sorry.

Apart from your horrid spelling and grammar, I find that mindset very offensive. I would hope you grow out of it otherwise you are going to make a poor father, boyfriend or other.
ok, my grammar is bad because it was 7:30 and i had been up since about 6 and working since 7 yesterday morning
also, the mindset is harsh, ill admit. i was too tired to take any bull, and when it comes to opinon threads youve got to be harsh or everyone will just say "Opinions do matter. We can argue, learn and grow with ours and those of other people"
also, if you are looking to learn from other peoples opinons, an online forum probably isnt #1 choice

EDIT: im going to stop making excuses now. usually i dont have a bad attitude, and being tired is no excuse for it. i dont know why i was so harsh about other peoples opinions
i think its becuase the most recent "I dont get this and this is why" topic was arkham asylam, which i really liked, so i had this in mind as i was writing the thread

knock yourself out

i did not get donnie darko
please dont tell me "whats to get?"
it just didnt seem as mind twisting as people said before i watched it

Donnie Darko is a thought experiment and a depressive tale of an instance where the world actually is better off without this one person.

but yer right, it isnt near as trippy as everyone says

The popularity of pirates. Y'know those things we call "bandits"? Those guys robbing the old lady whose only existence is to be hissed at and disliked so they can be beaten up in hoards by the hero so we understand that the hero is awesome? The losers of the land. Put one on a boat, you got a pirate, the losers of the sea.

I find forums are a great place for it. Surrounded by like-minded people. It's good to change some views on the matter or have your own changed.
But I do think you shouldn't be harsh. You should stand to your own opinion, but do not be so aggressive as to aggravate anyone. You should be very open and welcome learning. Why do people believe they are right or like something you don't? There must be some good reasons for it.

I still don't understand the negativity on this thread. I feel too many people are lying about their hatred or are too emotional over things they don't understand.
