I hate it when people try to make you agree with their opinion. A conversation I had with my brother:
Me: I hate the new Muse album.

Brother: What, really? Why? It's great.

Me: Pretentious lyrics, boring arrangements. Seems like they got obsessed with adding stupid hooks in all their songs. Vocal melodies seem forced in places... Kind of like it doesn't go with the music like it should. Found myself laughing at how cheesy it was.

Why do people believe they are right or like something you don't? There must be some good reasons for it.

there are, and if they are put forwards in a well formed and mature argument, i will treat it with the respect it deserves.
but people that throw their opinion to the world and respond with hostility when it is countered do not deserve respect.
i understand there may, and probably is, a lot of irony i what i am saying, but i am only human, which really is only the aggression of animals tempered by the knowledge of experience. it would explain a lot about the attitudes of me, and others, in general.
i hope i am more than that, but i doubt it

Playing team games, because nobody ever listens to what anybody else says. It really puts me off multiplayer. It would be better if MP didn't have leaderboards then people would play for the fun/team rather than the ego trip

Agreed but the competition is, in part, why people play. What you could do is redirect the focus on "assists," "point guards," and "team leader boards," instead of individual stats. Better players will get picked for better teams and that will be the end of it. One could take pride in the team that they are part of instead of their lone-wolf abilities.

Anyway, just a thought.
