Now before you start thinking i'm a troll just hear me out. I have just watched all 5 of the E3 press conferences and I was really shocked some gamers patience during the Nintendo Conference. By the way I was watching it on Gametrailers.com and they had a twitter feed so thats how I heard this stuff. At the start when Miyamoto came on with a full orchestra to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Zelda they started talking and about 3 minutes in people started to post comments such as ZZZZZ, GTFO, Shut up NOW and when are the actual games. I think that Nintendo were doing a nice celebration of all the years of Zelda so I wondered why that so many people were being impatient and thinking that they would just get like GTA 5 straight away. The 3DS part was really good, announced new games and new features, but still people started saying stuff like kiddeh gamez, SHOW US GTA and we want real games. I admit that there were lots of good people actually excited about these announcements but still those few trolls had to ruin it. The 3DS Section finished and then, the Wii U was announced. Immediatly there was people saying, oh look its an Ipad, Nintendo I am dissapoint and more Shitteh KIdZ G4MeZ. When Saturo Iwata started talking about the many new features, people were still shouting for more actual games, this is a really bad case of impatience. IN conclusion some people really disappointed me this E3, people who think that if they dont get GTA, Gears, HL3 and COD straight away that it is boring or crappy. Dont get me wrong most people I saw on that twitter feed were good gamers looking forward and being patient but those people just ruined the whole experience for me.

So what do you think of this and if you can give legitimate reasons for arguments against what I have just wrote, please post below.

I watched the G4TV stream which was a mistake. The stream itself was fine, but the comments, oh the comments. They were really excited for both Microsoft and Sony. I thought the Microsoft one was ok, nothing too ground break and the pushing for a Kinect grated on me (I refuse to buy one, I have a Wii), but it was OK. The Sony one I thought was piss poor-the awkward apology immediately cancelled out by "You guys will buy that right up won't you," many a same-y shooter, the move still looks dumb, and pushing for a very expensive 3D TV. Sony got points for the Vita having a new touch panel tech, but that's it. Oh but when Nintendo came on, all those people salivating over Grey-Brown-Bloom 3 were kvetching away.Yes, the franchise isn't new, but at least they're putting some new ideas out there (which is why I won't totally dis the Kinect, they are trying something new and doing something with it and not putting a shiny ball on a black wiimote). I was honestly excited as two franchises were being reborn (Luigi's Mansion and Kid Icarus) for the 3DS. The WiiU despite the name sounding really bad is really interesting and innovative tech wise and I want to try it. The games look fun, it has a bright and varied color palette, it's backwards compatible, and there are games I want to play for it. I don't understand these people who were disappointed, the thing isn't even finished and it looks neat.

I went into E3 hoping any of them would wow me. Nintendo did, Microsoft certainly put effort in, and Sony just down right pissed me off.

Prize winning comments: "Still no HD" -the first thing Nintendo said was that it had 1080p/i tech "It's just a controller for the current wii" the pics they had up showed a console that clearly wasn't a wii. That one made me headdesk many times.

I enjoyed all the conferences except Microsoft's of which I enjoyed 60%, mainly because I wasn't all that enthusiastic about all the Kinect news, even of there were some interesting uses of if.

But there will always be fanboys, they only watch the conferences live to see if it will beat their console of choice, they don't particularly care about what is shown because they weren't going to get blown away anyway.

Its immature, but theres nothing that can be done about it really.

Yes cause compared to the current 3D tv's which cost 1000's of dollars, a good sized one, with glasses, hdmi, and a game for $500 is SOOO much.

Also piss-poor apology? So what did you expect them to not have it at all and ignore the whole fiasco? Because ignoring problems is good, right?

Also the new Wii U controller does NOTHING the Vita can't do, besides streaming your games on the screen which is kind of stupid imo.

Lack of Rockstar presence makes it seem like nothing significant was announced. Even the new wii console doesn't seem significant.

Actually along with many other people in the audience I was expecting the apology to be a bit more sincere and something more than 5 year old games. The apology was basically "yeah we know we crashed, but look at all this stuff you get for free so stop complaining. Buy Uncharted 3"

And excuse me for not being able to spend $500 in one go. I had to save for my consoles what with the cost of college/applying to grad school/food eating my spare monies. I look at these games and keep a little list of stuff I want/looks interesting so when I do save money I can remember them and buy them.

As I said before the Vita is neat with a back touch panel. However you do realize as far as I can tell other than that it's a PSP with a touch screen. Mod Nation Racer showed the best use of the touch controls, but when they did it in Uncharted I sat there thinking "I'm sure some of my DS games already do that." I like the idea of streaming games, considering the largest TV in the house is in the living room and that's the one I want to play on. Having cut many a gaming session short because someone came home, the idea intrigues me. I would also like to point out the Vita is done and priced, but the WiiU isn't yet so we don't know it's full potential, but from what it's showing me, it's a tad more innovative in what the technology is capable of then the Vita.

I know how you are/were feeling. I was watching it on gametrailers as well, and people were just acting like idiot in the comments, like posting "Lol, I wanna bang that girl" EVERYTIME a woman entered the picture. Thats another thing that really annoys me on the internet. I quickly just turned it to only show my friends comments, so I was to get rid of all those comments

I think it's a testament to how much gaming has gone down the crapper that anyone was able to get excited by anything from any of the conferences this year.
We're really not expecting much anymore are we?

That said. The Nintendo conference was probably great for Nintendo fans and anyone who's expecting gta to show up on a Nintendo console at this point needs to have their head examined. You play Nintendo Games on a Nintendo console. It's always been that way and at this point it's always going to be that way. I thought they might have changed when the wii found such a big market but they didn't.

Now that I got that out of the way, I'm really hoping that Nintendo isn't expecting Wiiu to have the same success as the wii. The market they expanded gaming to isn't going to buy a new console every 5-10 years. Hell, a lot of them just upgraded to dvd from their vcr. I'm sure the Nintendo fans will still buy it.

I see Gabriel's "Greater Internet Fuckwad Theory" is still in effect:

I think people make these snide remarks for two reasons:

1. Because they can.

2. They're desperate for attention.

Also, consider this: most reasonable people were probably too busy watching the conference to post their observations.
