Hhhhokay, so I really am in need of a new psp game. I've got Battlefront Renegade Squadron, that burned out long ago because it was one of my firsts, Guilty Gear Judgment is a little shaky [my other first], Crisis Core FFVII I beat the storyline and don't have the heart to do it over again, Medal of Honor Heroes was a good run, Disgeae Afternoon of Darkness' difficulty curve was a brick wall to the face and supposedly the solution is level grind, but it Tactical RPGs it's a chore.
I'm seriously considering:
Neverland Card Battles
Class of Heroes
Patapon
LocoRoco
FF Tactics War of the Lions
Naruto Ultimate Ninja Heroes 2 [with japanese voiceover of course]
Dissidia Final Fantasy
Ace Combat X Skies of Deception

I am a huge JRPG fan, but 1-on-1 fighters I enjoy and FPS games are always welcome. I'm still very open to ideas. Please give a little description of the game or a link to it's website if you can. Thanks! ^^

Hm. Either get MGS: Portable Ops or wait for Peace Walker.

It's all to do with recruiting soldiers and building up a squadron, so each soldier has their own stats and skills and can be equipped with loads of different weapons.

if your into the squinex games, then dissidia, because it truly is a masterpiece.
But, patapon is also very good, it has a long storline with minigames and endless boss replayablility

The games I've listed I've been to their websites and they're lookin' good. Does anyone have any others that I didn't list? [you don't really need to list anything other than what on my list, it'd just help though]

If you like JRPG's I suggest you pick up Disgaea 2, Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth, Crimson Gem Saga, Star Ocean 1&2, Jeanne D'ark, Kingdom of Paradise, and Persona 1 remake.

For shooters there is no better choice than Resistance Retribution and the two Syphon Filter games. Technically they are third person shooters, but they are the best of the best on the system. Look into the SOCOM games as well as they are also rather well done.

As for just general games: Soul Calibur is pretty damn fun fighter, especially if you liked SC4. Metal Slug Anthology is a pretty good deal with 7 games in the package. Tenchu Shadow Assassins was pretty fu n if not a tad sluggish. SOCOM Tactical Strike is an AWESOME strategy game that is very akin to full spectrum warrior. Killzone Liberation is another fun shooter game. And if you are any bit interested in racers, look into the wipeout games, motorstorm and Gran Turismo.

As for upcoming games, you got Persona 3 on the horizon, Assassins Creed Bloodlines, SOCOM fire-team bravo 3, Star Wars Battlefront: Elite Squadron, just to name a few. I can throw a lot more suggestions if you are interested, but this list should be good for now.

EDIT: Some of the games I have listed Have demos up on the network, so you can give them a try before buying them. be warned about the Dissidia demo though, it SUCKS compared to the actual game, terribly misleading in terms of difficulty and what not. It's just there to show off the basic fighting mechanics.

Thanks, man!
I saw the screenshots for Jeanne D'Arc and I really don't want to buy it. Disgeae 2 doesn't have the same adorable characters, so it's out. I've played the Dissidia demo and am ready for it. Soul Calibur I definitely want really badly! For on-the-horizon, I'm looking forward to Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep and .hack//LINK, with Elite Squadron is up there, too! ^^
Thanks for the list!
