I still have this problem

I don't know if i can do this on this forum but I need a bit of help. For the longest while I have been trying to sign on to the PSN. I am able to get on to the internet using my PS3 but for some reason every time I try to log on to the PSN it doesn't work. It starts to sign in and then just stops. Someone told me that if I can get on the internet I should be able to access the PSN. Am I doing something wrong. I need a straight answer for once and I am not very technical so please not to much jargon please.

Yes I went through the whole process. And that is not funny. I dislike Microsoft and would only get an Xbox 360 if Sony's PS3 died out completely

I live in Trinidad I don't think I can contact them from here and If I do it will cost a fortune. Don't any of you have an answer for me. Didn't you have any problem like this cropping up when you first signed on?
