I have an irrational fear of organ meats. Honestly. Come near me with a piece of liver or kidney, and I will probably run. It's not that I don't like them in general, I'd happily watch surgery take place or look at said organs in a butchers. However, the whole idea of eating organs as food really sickens me. Let it be said I'll happily cut up normal meat for cooking, I quite enjoy cooking meat normally, which makes my phobia all the more irrational...

I also have a perfectly rational fear of bugs. Anyone from the UK here watch Primeval? The episode about two weeks ago was really hard for me to watch, especially with the giant maggots. It took me three hours to watch a 45 minute show on ITV Player...

What the fuck, guys.

I have an irrational fear of roaches.
They terrify me.
some female spiders carry their eggs in a sac, they were probably in the process of hatching as you stepped on it :p also that reminds me of the spiders on Rayman 2 (oldie, I know) where you kill them and they split into two spiders >.> (PC version only I think)
Also now I'm getting that itching leg syndrome where someone's just mentioned a poisonous spider and you get stupidly paranoid that there's one on you. What's more, my mum told me a while back that funnel-web spiders had migrated to the UK. Thanks mum ¬.¬

Heh, quality. The other picture was of a Japanese Spider Crab. Not technically a spider, so don't go worrying too much, they live on the bottom of the pacific ocean, so not so much a threat ^.^

Thank you :D

That's an Australian as well isn't it? I think i recognize it from an article that was posted here some weeks/months ago.

Strangely i don't get the creeps from this one. I usually do when there are close-ups. Curse you Condemned: Criminal Origins. I haven't had a proper scare since that game. Except Dark Messiah as mentioned.

Well, I haven't seent he picture, since absolutely despise huge spiders. But I once saw a picture of a spider that was half a fucking meter. It was insane. It was in the upper corner of the room, and had tons of small spiders run around it. It was like the mother of all spiders .. really gross
:O

Any suggestions where i might find this pic? I'm trying to get rid of my last remnants of my arachnophobia since it's the only phobia i have. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

And you're doing so by looking at the worse pictures of what you're afraid of? Well, I'll hand it to ya. I'm impressed. I wouldn't manage. But no, I don't know where to find that picture. I saw it on a norwegian community site ..

I get these creepy, ugly, thin spiders that always hang above my bathroom door. The other day I saw a really big one, that night it was gone. Cue me looking around the bathroom for the damn thing all week.

Creepy buggers... Luckily they're light enough to be sucked into a hoover. ^_^

I did that, once.
Only the spider was above me, so I hit it with a stick.
The babies fell on top of my head.
It was not cool.

I really, really, really hate the sound of an alarm clock. I will flip the f**k out if I hear it in the middle of the day even in a video or something. I guess it's just an unsettling thought to question whether you are really awake or not. Also, I don't like getting up in the morning.

No phobias in particular, but I can tell you about a nasty, slightly embarrasing incident in my own house which made me run out of my own room.

Right, imagine the following: It's spring. Flies have not yet emerged, no bugs whatsoever. I'm going to bed, late night, probably 1 or 2 am. I lay down, but all I can hear is the frantic buzzing of two big black flies. So, armed with a copy of The Phantom I rise to annihilate the two petty excuses for creatures. *Swat* one down, proceeds to the next....

Then BAM!

All of a sudden 200 freakin' relatives of the suckers escapes from behind the wall and ceiling. I shrieked and ran out like a bat out of hell, and slept in my brother's room that night. The next morning I was armed and dangerous with the daily newspaper set to destroy the pests. Sadly, they were already laying dead on my floor, carpet, window and bed. *Shudder*
Jesus Christ! Where do you live, the Congo?
Nope, Central Norway.
