I think Minecraft is under attack again.

Mabye my computer has just spazzed out for some reason (even though everything else works fine) but I doubt it. I went onto minecraft classic (multiplayer) a few minutes ago and there where 3 servers available, with noone in them except one which had 7 and for some reason my server wasn't showing up even though i'd loaded it up.

So I refreshed the page a few times and each time the number of servers was differant but there was never more than 4. I kept trying to go into these servers but it kept saying that they were probably down. And then one of them worked, it was mine.... but the name had changed.... (it had changed to "crappynooby server" or something like that).

So yeah, what do you think/know about this?

I believe the update came out today, and therefore the server is overloaded from everyone downloading it.

Yeah but that still doesn't explain why my server's name got changed to something that is obviously on purpose.

This is Driving me insane!
I wanna get to my fav classic server so i can work on my ship!
I've been at it for hours but its just 4 servers cycling, and i can join none of them!
the guy has 38 million, how much can a better server cost?

that is weird, I havent a clue as to what really happened, but perhaps you got hacked or the links got all muddled.

Well the server is still working perfectly fine when I go on it but I don't know why someone would call their own server "stupid noobish server" which would probably be needed if the links got all muddled up.

But yeah it is really annoying that none of the servers are up, I got so bored with noone else there.
