So, before I made this account, I watched a ton of stuff while a guest, such as all the Unskippables (including Metal Gear August), 3 pages of ZP, etc. I made my account yesterday, but now realize that to get badges, I'll have to watch everything again. Is there anything I can do to not have to rewatch everything??

The real question is, why bother getting those badges? They're nothing but little frills.

But if you really, really must have them, you have to watch the videos again. If you watched them all, you must have enjoyed them, so would that really be that bad?

No, no you cannot. If you want the badges then you have to watch everything, again. Sorry.

They should come eventually, but if not don't worry. Nobody here really cares about them.

And welcome to the Escapist. Here the rule of punctuation is "one or none!"

Dont see the badges as achievments that you need to unlock. I see them as signs of what i am intrested in. Allowing them to spark a conversation with someone. e.g = Oh, i see you like unskippable. Me too!

Pretty sure you don't have to watch them all the way through - rather, they merely check if you've clicked on the video while logged in.

Could just click each one and not watch them? Don't see why you'd want to though, they're still funny and it's not exactly a bad thing to go back and watch things again.

Unless you're going to try rereading all of Least I Could Do - in which case, enjoy being at your computer for the next 48 96 hours.

People aren't going to judge you on whether or not you don't have the Hot Topic one.
I was reffering to the "Topic Inferno" which is notable.
Notable ones are silly. You should choose the ones which look cool.

Badges don't mean anything really, apart from the high level "Hot Topic" ones and Contributer ones don't fret.

And don't try boosting your post count either...

By the way, Welcome to The Escapist. Keep that standard of English and we will get along fine!

@LordCuthberton: Thanks. And, so you mean people here actually use correct grammar!? That in itself is a plus to this site.

@bernthalbob616: Thanks again. Anyway, "one or none"? I don't really get that one...

By the way;
@almost everyone: I don't want to rewatch them because it's like watching a movie twice. I mean, you might notice a couple new things, but I'd really rather not.

You used more than one exclamation mark in your title. People only really do that if they mean it in an ironic way.

It was just a heads up really, if you do that too much people might start to get annoyed with you.

You could join the badge hunters group if you're that frustrated by them. Besides why should other people care about what you watch?

Badges are badges. If you get them then yay woo huzzah etc. If not, oh well. I don't go out of my way to collect badges, I just do over time.

Expect a berating if you have a poor discourse.
You know, this isn't the first time I've seen you bragging about your apparent "grammar Nazi-esque" attitude (which is nothing to be proud of by the way) yet I've never actually seen you post besides when you brag...

As for the badges - who really cares? They are little pictures next to your name that next to nobody cares about. They mean nothing - nothing at all and are a complete waste of time to purposely try and collect.

And there are no ZP badges, mind, only Apocalypse Lane, Doomsday Arcade, The Escapist show, Rebecca Mayes Muses, and Unskippable.
There's also some for There Will Be Brawl[!], which I mean to get...eventually. I like that series, but haven't kept* up since episode four or so. On that, I need to catch up on Dead Fantasy (which has also been not-watched since episode four or so).

*typo'd as "lept"; hm...
