For the longest time, I've wanted to do Let's Plays or Commentaries but I honestly don't think I'm "funny" enough to do it on my own. Sure, I'm a funny guy around friends, but that's mainly because I'm quick with comebacks. So then it hit me: if I'm not that amusing on my own, or not to me or other people such as my friends, then perhaps it would be more entertaining to watch my friends and I play?
In retro spec, a friend of mine and I have come to the conclusion that we shall have a joint youtube channel for "co-op" gaming. Basically by co-op we're planning to play a bunch of games with story lines that we can do together. On the other hand of things, we can also play what we call "matchmaking" games, so anything that has multiplayer "separate" from single player, or multiplayer games with no story. Examples of this would be Killing Floor, Assassin's Creed multiplayer, Halo: Reach and Battlefield [most like BC2, maybe 3] since I don't own a Call of Duty game.
So here comes the reason for making this thread: Does anyone know of good co-op games for the 360 and PC that are preferably online compatible?
We have a few in mind, Portal 2 being one since neither of us have played it. Resident Evil 5 is a choice, drinking game might be involved. A whole selection of arcade titles is here, including Crimson Alliance, 'Splosion Man, Dungeon Defenders, The Dishwasher. We also have two games in line as "publicity stunts" I guess, Borderlands and War for Cybertron. We would most likely not play these games until their sequel's release is drawing near. I own War for Cybertron and we both own Borderlands. The reason for this is that I know many friends, myself included, who have never played the first game of a series, and instead of wasting money on the first game when the second is around the corner, we watch someone else play the original.
Also, we kind of don't have a name yet, but I think that should be something we come up with.
