Hey, I was hoping for ideas for games I could play. I play rpgs and almost nothing else. I have a ps3, ps2, gamecube, sega, nintendo 64. Anyway, does anyone have any good game ideas?
If you're going to recommend Soul Blazer I would suggest the other 2 Quintet RPGs for the SNES:GonzoGamer said:Topics like this I like to recommend some gems from the 16-bit era -
Phantasy Star (especially 2 & 4) if you want more of a huge open world(s) type game. Even people who don't like jrpgs love the original Phantasy Stars.
Soul Blazer - if you like the more Zelda-ish type action-rpgs.
I don't know if you can get them for a console anymore but you can jack them into your phone pretty easily.
I would also recommend picking up San Andreas for your PS2. People don't usually think of it as an RPG but it kind of is.
If you want something a little unique, try Valkyria Chronicles: it mixes RPG with strategy and shooter elements and it works really well. It's also a joy to look at.
I don't remember those at all but I love Soul Blazer. Thank you for giving me something else to find & jack into my phone.Kaleion said:If you're going to recommend Soul Blazer I would suggest the other 2 Quintet RPGs for the SNES:GonzoGamer said:Topics like this I like to recommend some gems from the 16-bit era -

Illusion of Gaia and Terranigma specially Terranigma, that's easily the best of the 3, though it wasn't released in America so you might have to import the European version, though I think it might be available in the virtual console these days.

Yeessssss! Loved that game so much, one of the best RPGs I ever played. It combined so many great elements.oplinger said:Skies of Arcadia Legends on the GCN
