Well that was dumb. If you want a GOOD series that originally started with knocking off ZP's style ((And he admits it, saying straight up that that is where he got the idea to use it, but as opposed to doing game reviews, he does short talks on various subjects)) try Rather Vocalized Illusion. Excellent series in my opinion. http://www.youtube.com/user/Bhalspawn#p/u/28/r5E2qcR4bjY
Hell, you know what other great series started as a ZP-Style-Knockoff (that is to say, some one who knock off their style, not a knock-off like ZP)? Extra. Fucking. Credits. Seriously, at the end of his first few videos on Youtube, Daniel Floyd even credited Yahtzee. So nothing wrong with taking just a bit of inspiration. This is too much, though, obviously.
Yeah I remember that. I've been a Floyd fan since the beginning.

Blatant theft but he did do one thing that made me laugh. The inversion makes all of the characters look like they just dropped tons of acid. The bug eyes are a nice look :p

His websites are the most incoherently created messes in history. I'm not sure how he did it, but the pages bleed into each other when you click through the tabs. My ears bleed from the horrible music.

You guys got trolled if you're mad.

Check out the comments. He's hardly stealing it.
You mean when he says "my feelings" and posts stuff that the escapist pays good money to have elusively on the site. Yeah this is 100% copyright infringement. And he's been doing it for mouths, for all the videos.
First of all thats not theft. Thats copy right infringement. Secondly, he's applying an echoe and colour inversion.

My point is that he's not trying to make a profit, or actually convince anyone he owns it, he's trying to piss people off.

Successful troll...
I said copy right infringement, and some are still yellow, they even have the escapist watermark.
It takes money directly away form the escapist if people thought it was his.
Successful troll, maybe.
Criminal, definitly.
Criminal? I thought copy right infringement was a civil offence?

Regardless. Why exactly did you originally quote me? It was to correct me on him 'not being a thief' right? Which he isn't, because its copy right infringement?
I don't know much about the legal system but i'll look it up...Nope unless he tried to profit from it, it is not a criminal offense, apparently plagiarism isn't even civil offense yet. I quoted you because you act like its nothing, but I'm pretty sure those who profit from the show fell more than just trolled. Its up to the escapist to decide if they want to crack down to get it pulled or ignore it at this point.

Edit: also he is taking credit for making them
"hmm well i am not suppose to say but i am making one for tomorrow but if you really like it i guse i will upload it today...give me about 2 hours to finish aniimation :) ps please comment not reply mine (it helps ratings) thanks"

YouTube has never taken kindly to stealing, so they'll probably either freeze his account, or ban him outright for this. Apparently he was a jerk to the guy who made the custom skin his account uses, then he went and used it anyway.

All around he's not making a good case.

Someone with no skill whatsoever in the field of videomaking has stolen Yahtzees work given it a crappy recolour and posted it as his own, seeing as Yahtzee has a contract of sorts his work belongs to the site so, staff of the Escapist, is this worth action? If yes, how much?

(I dont mean to seem patronizing, sorry if i've come across as such)
He's added an echo to the sound and recoloured the visual so the video doesn't get pulled by YouTube's automatic copyright-infringement-detection software. If you feel strongly about it, I wouldn't post it here (which will only get it more hits), but instead PM one of the Escapist staff (not Yahtzee) and I imagine they'll probably notify YouTube.
Youtube has that? Cool.

There needs to be dedicated Yahtzee-Fanboy-Attack Dogs with the power to completely destroy people who do this.

Escapist, Youtube, Coalition of the Internet get right on that.

Edit: Why do fuckers like this guy get ten fold more views than I do...

Edit 2: Fixed late-night spelling.

So....has anyone messaged some Admin in here? I doubt Yahtzee can be contacted directly through here...or anywhere else, for that matter. But I'm sure that if someone contacts an Admin or something, the message will carry through.

The reaction to this vid impresive o0
I like a good nerdrage same as anyone but there's hundreds of people making negative comments on his channel main page, this is kinda disproportional and gives the channel more attention then it deserves.

On closer inspection of said page, methinks is a troll. And a succesful one.

He got enough videos where there's no changes at all if you search his channel a bit.

OT: This is pretty low, strange how he actually got that many subscribers despite the fact that he got an average of 5 likes and 1000 dislikes on his videos. Seems there's a lot who likes to watch things they dislike...

This is even more brazen plagiarism than our former minister of defence's PhD thesis scam.

Teeheehee. I smell a lawsuit. ... Or is it a punishment squad?
