It's a cover shooter. I just don't get the appeal in hiding behind cover, waiting for some bowl-necked knucklehead to show his face so I can unload half a clip of ammo into it before going back to hiding. I've borrowed the likes of Gears of War and Uncharted 2 from friends because they're actually quite fun but I wouldn't pay full price for them or even buy them at all. Having said that I will be pre-ordering Spec Ops: The Line. Dubai is possibly the greatest setting they could have possibly thought up for it and the fact that the story is based of Apocalypse Now, the best war movie ever, goes some way to assure me that this will be worth it and could change my opinion on cover shooters.
