Icarus has been revealed.

You may or may not know that recently, a teaser website called www.whatisicarus.com was created. On August 12, 1:45 PM, it was going to reveal a new game from Irrational Games. The Result?

Bioshock Infinite.
Yeah. I don't get it either.

It seems to be the third game in the series, but the site itself seems to suggest that it's a reimagining. I certainly hope that's not the case. However, it also seems that you'll be able to fight in the sky, which is cool, I guess.

Now, I haven't been keeping up with the Bioshock mythos since the first game, but I'm very disappointed. I was hoping for System Shock 3. But no. What did you guys think? Link to website is here:

It does not appear to be being able to fly. More of a flying city. Where Andrew Ryan built a city in the sea, someone else has built one in the sky. At least that is what I am getting from it right now, I can't get the trailer to stream, so I am downloading it.

I don't think it's a re-imagining... It's set in 1912, rather than 1968 liek the first game.

But Ryan Andrews built Rapture to escape normal society! If places like this existed before him, wouldn't this have inspired him rather than have him create his OWN vision?

Plus, the summery says it's falling out of the sky... Rapture was under the sea and could be kept a secret. If this crashes into the earth, then you've altered history, something Bioshock was able to avoid (to its credit I suppose). I get the feeling you're going to stop this thing as a final mission from crashing into the earth

Based on what I've seen, this might be the first Bioshock that I make a purchase of.
