Icebreaking NPCs

So I was playing MW2 and

Spoiler: could give something away I guess

Was on the level where you've just got out of the downed helicopter and the EMP has gone off

When all of a sudden everyone is like "FUCK FUCK! RUN RUN!" and I'm like "AHHH ESCAPE!!!!" when totally out of nowhere, Corporal Dunn is like "Whoaaa, this isn't good man!" in the kind of American voice often more associated with Shaggy from Scooby Doo, or you're average stoner.

It made me chuckle, and also made me think, has there ever been a time in a game, where something was supposed to be serious, but turned out pretty funny? Discuss.

From just a while after that, when you meet the runner who forgot the call sign.
"Star!"

"Alright, calm down. I don't remember the fucking response, OK?"

It was something along those lines. Not sure of the entire conversation as I've only done that mission once.

Just been there. I also liked the following when you see the group of soldiers by the truck

"Are they friendlies ?" "Star !" "..." "Please say 'Texas', please say 'Texas'..." "Enemies !"

or somewhere along that.

Also, a lot of dialogue from L4D I'm sure some of you are familiar with.

I suppose this counts

I was on the Sims 3, and my guy was having a party at the park. An enemy of his wanders out of his work, walks over, and shouts at him. All the guests crowd around, and they're exchanging insults. Suddenly, one guy slaps the other across the face

Everything is silent

Everything is tense

This is the only moment in the Sims were I can see some actual relationship shizz going down

I zoom the camera down to grab a shot. Two mortal enemies in the centre of a sea of onlookers

Suddenly, from the back, I spot an insane guy jumping up and down at the back of the crowd, proclaiming loudly about "SMILEY"

Never laughed like that before in the Sims

Can't remember the line, but there's one Mass Effect line that's really deadly serious, but when the female Shepard says it, it comes off as distinctly sexual. If I remember it, I'll edit this post.

In a very old game called 'Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon' (An OoT set in japan basically), there are two gatekeepers at the start of the game who's gate is super glued or something with magic. When you beat the first dungeon the gate opens, and the gatekeepers say something to this effect:

Gatekeeper 1: Now that the gate is open we're gonna stand here till the end of the game... kinda painful.
Gatekeeper 2: If this game was called Mystical Ninja Starring Gatekeeper maybe we'd have more fun.

An officer says, after choosing the 'who are you' dialogue option says: 'In order to protect you and keep the peace... I have altered my body to become the great... ROBOT OFFICER!'
Another officer says, 'If any criminals steal anything I'll hit them with my ATOMIC STICK!'

A little girl near the first dungeon is walking around. She says 'I wonder when the bridge to Oedo Castle (first dungeon) will be fixed? Maybe I should fix it!' Then in yellow writing underneath, 'TO BE CONTINUED...'

That game is chock full of funny moments.
