A great site to check out for the Halloween season is Ichor Falls [http://www.ichorfalls.com/].

Created by Kris Straub (the same guy that makes Chainsaw Suit [http://chainsawsuit.com/] and some other webcomics - my mind was blown when I discovered this fact), it features creepy short stories about a fictional town in West Virginia called Ichor Falls. Kind of similar to Silent Hill, it's a small town with a tragic past that's now afflicted with all sorts of strange, supernatural events. The main stories are by Kris and are largely excellent, and there are also stories submitted by others for your perusal.

My favorite stories are Candle Cove [http://www.ichorfalls.com/2009/03/15/candle-cove/] and Lemon Blossom Girl [http://www.ichorfalls.com/2008/10/30/lemon-blossom-girl/], a couple that are really good and also are quite independent of the Ichor Falls mythology, so jump right in!

I actually enjoyed the site so much, that I purchased the Ichor Falls Visitor's Guide [http://shop.krisstraub.com/products/ichor-falls-a-visitors-guide], a book that collects Kris' stories together with some great illustrations.

So check it out - I hope you find some enjoyable thrills!

The Hirsch Camera [http://www.ichorfalls.com/2008/10/29/the-hirsch-camera-1870/] is another great story - a description of an exhibit in an Ichor Falls museum of an old camera that took some very strange photos... a couple things in this are actually pretty disturbing, imho.

Like the description of the picture of the people in the town center, crawling or running around on all fours. There's just something very wrong about it to me. And also where it says only 12 of the 103 known photographs are on display. You can't help but wonder what those other pictures depict...
