I've been in the same series of rooms for over an hour. I'm at the part on the way to completing the west gate. I have my trusty sword, and we just encountered a waterfall. Upon traversing onto a brigdelike balcony, we made our way to a room that has pipes to climb on the ceiling. After maneuvering those, I hit a switch that puts a wooden machine into movement. If I were to step on a pedestal, it would launch me about 5 feet in the air - a few feet out of reach from the ledge above it. I managed to find a secret door that you push open, where Yorda activated a circular pedestal, which revealed a square cup-like statue. The statue will not move, activate, and it does not allow any further reach to anything. I'm stuck. I don't know where to go or what to do - I feel like I've tried about everything. What am I missing? Hints?
