Just finished the demo of Dragon's Dogma and it wasn't too bad, despite being the shortest demo in the world. Really liked how they did the character creation, not to sure about the gameplay though, but they'll hopefully make it better by the time it comes out, though I'm sure I'll end up buying it either way

Anyone else think it was ok your did you hate it? It really seemed like a rehash of dragon age to me.

It does seem like fun. Character creation is good, and the gameplay seems fun enough. I also like how it's getting some of the more unknown mythical creatures to fight.
Sadly it's getting released in the middle of exams, so I'll be holding off for a while.

Really liked the feeling of the combat in the demo, and the pawn system really interests me.

Definitely picking it up.

My pawn is gonna look like this guy :D

I wouldn't be expected any huge changes to gameplay if I were you seeing as the game is out in 4 days (EU release that is, tomorrow for US).

I've been looking forward to this game for a while now so i'm counting down the days to Friday.

Yeah, I'll be getting this on or soon after launch.

It looks like fun.

Although I do have complaints.
- The pawns need to shut up. A lot. Although it is kind of funny when I'm stabbing a gryphon in the face and my companion is telling me about the deer poop he just found.
- The setting is painfully generic. As vanilla as fantasy gets, no identity at all

It absolutely has great potential, sadly they are almost ready to release so all the faults they have in the demo will probably stay.
I feel if this was given another 2 years or so it would be one of the very best games in recent history, but as it stands now the whole package just feels unfinished, so I guess I'm more looking forward to the sequel.

How are you going to do that Daystar? Last time I checked they didn't have katanas, white hair or overcoats in the game.

But If they had katanas in the game...God I would love that.

OT: My pawn is going to looks like my Best friend with his name and stuff...and guess who the MC is going to look like. :D

And I'm liking everything about this game. the story looks good, the customization is great, the gameplay is looking mostly fun. But too bad we didn't get to see the wizard or any other classes play. :/

But still...cant wait for the 24th to play it! :p

I see this said allot. Though I find it to be a little misguided.

Duke Nukem forever.

The misguided part would being pointing to extremes and making conclusions, DNF was just a snowball of bad management, a problem Dragon's Dogma clearly does not share.

Well, if there are issue's with the game then what else causes it if not bad management?

Lack of time? You know when publishers make you release shit before it's done...
These forums are getting sillier every day.

Lack of time, boils down to poor time management.

Not exactly the same, obviously

But there is white hair and style similar enough to Vergil's hair.

Hmm didn't know that. Only if there were katanas,
Also what about the clothes?

But who knows there might be katanas, and I will find it...for Arisen!

As longs as he's got spiky white hair and an unamused expression, I'll be happy :D

I should give my pawn a either really creepy face or an anamused one since that what my best friends looks like mostly. Also left out the part how I'm going to grab onto him and chuck him off rooftops and at my enemies...HAHA take that!

Actually he might need spiky hair too. :D
