If you've ever spent the holidays with elderly relatives and had to listen to their opinions on other races and alternative sexualities, then you'll agree that being old is all about no longer having to give a shit.
So being old is basically like being around a Chan or almost any website's comment section? It would explain things...

Saying Deum is the old age of Id makes perfect sense from the perspective of it's original use. In Shakespeare's monologue that first referenced the seven ages of man, the seventh, 'old age' category is actually referred to as "second childishness".
