Since Arkham City had many easter eggs and hints pointing towards a possible sequel, a sequel is a possibility.
Anyway while walking through the woods, I had an idea. It could be set in the future, and some villains (possibly the son of Joker, or Scarecrow) are heading the city, and its basically shitty city.Criminals in the streets, drugs, aclohol. The days of Batman defeating villains are long past, and he is nothing but an old scare story. An aged Bruce has retired to a small house somewhere, and Wayne Manor has been vandalized and covered in Graffiti. Bruce is an alcoholic who sits watching tv, watching the crime on the tv.
Then some somebody arrives (Maybe Barbara or Robin?) and tells him that Batman needs to come back. Bruce is all like 'Im not Batman any more' and 'Those days are behind me'. They then convince him, and he heads off to Wayne Manor. He's aged, but he still has some combat skills, and he manages to overpower and defeat the junkies and ruffians inhabiting Wayne Manor. Luckily they had not discovered the Batcave, and he goes down and suits up.
Rest of game commence. Now Batman must fight to save the city from itself
