Basically I'm curious what peoples ideal superhero team would be. Lets keep it to ten (10) people and stick to a single universe (as in no teams consisting of heroes from Marvel and DC) you can create two different teams if you want, one DC and one Marvel. Finally, teams should consist of people who would (in their universes) work together under normal circumstance, for example Batman would never team up with the Joker for a long period of time.

Mine are
Marvel
1. Kitty Pride
2. Nightcrawler
3. Colossus
4. Adam Warlock
5. Gambit
6. Havok
7. Hawkeye
8. Psylocke
9. The Vision
10. Banshee

DC
1. Martian Manhunter
2. Flash
3. Batman
4. Red Robin
5. Green Lantern
6. Hawkman
7. Nightwing
8. Green Arrow
9. Captain Marvel
10. Captain Atom

Sorry for my generic DC list, I don't know many DC heroes.

Also feel free to criticize my lists, or explain why they wouldn't work.

Yeah I know this has been done before, and I don't really care. The chances of reviving a thread are slim, and there are better chances of discussion on a new thread.

What, no Superman? He works well with EVERYONE. He's the tank, AND he's a friendly person. Also, your DC team lacks a magical Superhero. Replace Red Robin with Zatanna or Dr. Fate. You don't need 3 skilled humans with high tech gadgetry. Maybe replace Green Arrow with The Atom, or Mr. Terrific.

You got 3 Batman characters on here. Superhero teams need people of different skill sets to come together. Batman Family guys are too similar.

I like my teams to be small because I feel like it focuses on each member a bit more individually. I've been reading Avengers Academy where they have like 18 members right now, and they're only really focusing on 2 or 3 and it feels weird.

So instead, I'm gonna do it in sets of 5, if that's ok.

Marvel

1. She-Hulk
2. Deadpool
3. Jamie Madrox aka Multiple Man (though I wouldn't wanna pull him away from X-Factor where he belongs, I just love the character)
4. Dr. Strange
5. Domino

(right now they're doing The Defenders with Dr. Strange, Red She-Hulk, Silver Surfer, Iron Fist and Namor. Which is actually a pretty great team in my opinion. I just wish the book was slightly better.)

DC

1. Power Girl
2. Blue Beetle
3. Larfleeze
4. Zatanna
5. Onomatopoeia

*I'd LOVE to see Onomatopoeia make a comeback, but he's more or less a villain and probably wouldn't go on this team.

OP, I admit the teams I just posted are mainly just lists of my favorite characters, I didn't put too much thought into how well these characters would actually get along (though She-Hulk, Domino and Deadpool on the same team WOULD be pretty awesome)

But I had fun thinking about it. Thanks for the topic. I don't see as many comic related ones as I'd like to.

I'm just not a fan of superman, although Red Son was amazing.

That was pretty much the extent of my DC lineup knowledge

Not a problem, I just didn't want people going over 10, mostly because then it becomes a little to complicated

No problem, I've been trying to get back into comic reading, and it's something I randomly think about.

Actually, for DC, swap Onomatopoeia for the new Terra (well...I guess since there's gonna be a NEW new Terra in May the...relatively new Terra?...)

This one...

And she's already worked with Power Girl in the past, so there's already a bit of chemistry. Hell, she's practically PG's Sidekick

The Great Lakes Initiative with Deadpool. The sheer power of Squirrel Girl alone can overcome any foe!

No sarcasm either, I love my heroes a little stupid. It makes them try harder.
