Ideas for Sonic 4: Episode 2

After finishing Episode 1, I'm already thinking of what could go in Episode 2.
- Ice, Volcano, and Sky themed Zones, like Ice Cap, Lava Reef, and Sky Sanctuary from Sonic 3 & Knuckles.
- Bring back the gumball bonus stage from Sonic 3.
- Include Tails (JUST Tails) and put in areas of each stage that only he can access.
- Online co-op with voice chat and unique elements in gameplay to take advantage of it.
- Use enhanced versions of the Special Stages from Sonic 2.

They basically want Sonic 2.

How about Tails, like you said.

And maybe a redux of Oil Ocean.

A "change target" button for homing. Like R1/L1, RB/LB. Something quick to click and reach

No, that last one is something fanboys blindly accept. If people can get past the crappy new physics and enjoy the rest of the game, good for them. But it sure as hell isn't Sonic 4 just as we imagined it.

Make the special stages possible. There is no way I am gonna keep playing the same stage over and over just to keep failing on the stupidly hard special stages. Make them possible to complete and make it possible to replay them if you fail the first time rather than doing the whole stage again, that's just retarded. Also bring back the special stages from Sonic 2 like the OP said. Also I want Tails back and Knuckles.

Sonic Colors was awesome from the in-store demo I played.

Sonic 4 was solid as a rock, too.

And it's not been dead since the Genesis...The Sonic Advance games and the FIRST Sonic Rush game were great, even better than Sonic 4.

OT: Anyway, Ideas for Sonic 4: Episode 2....
- Tails playable (secret areas)
- Multiplayer (local, online)
- More original stages (I like the redesigned throwbacks but can we have more originality? I'll settle for 2 homages and 2 originals. If the Episode 2 is bigger with 6 zones, I'll still settle for 50:50)
- Sonic 2 Special Stages (but you still have to finish the level with 50 rings)
- Sonic 3&K bonus stages (25 rings at a save-post)
