Guess what I recently downloaded? The new Internet Explorer! Complete with that new HTML format to allow greater stability in bandwidth heavy websites, faster and more streamlined video, animation and general flash, and basically bringing it up to date. I decided, even though I am an avid Chrome user, that I shall try it out.

I download it, install it and it wants me to restart my computer to finish it's installation. I don't understand that, but if it wants this sacred ritual, then who am I to stop it? I restart my computer.

Then I actually loaded up the bloody thing and before I can even load a webpage, it crashes. Completely. Won't respond, won't close and when I open task manager and close it, it tries to find out what went wrong. When it says it found nothing, I close the little thing and THEN it does another scan. I close it and another Check up! I was stuck in an infinite loop of Microsoft trying to find something that went wrong. I logged out and back in again to solve the problem but really I couldn't stop laughing at this. I never made it onto a single webpage with it, and right now I'm still using Chrome. Can't wait for a HTML5 Chrome. ^^

What's your impressions of this "Future of the Internet"?

Calumon: I really don't care... I just want some more cake! ^^

I think the problem is that you're using IE.

I'd recommend immediately reverting to either firefox or chrome.

Mine worked like a dream. It's great, but I still prefer the flaming fox myself.
