Fill in the blank. To start everyone off:

If Apple made a console it would cost twice as much as a Playstation 3 and wouldn't play any game also available on another platform.

Plus it would probably overheat and break fast too. Seriously, I've not had an Apple computer that doesn't overheat or break. They try to be sleek and compact but that's just too much stuff and poor venting.

I believe this has already been done

But i do agree with how much it will cost and i don't see a lot of games being made for it which would be unfortunate, because i could see it as being quite powerful.

It would probably be built on an OS that made it difficult for developers and would lose money.

If it managed to make it a couple years with a profit, it would probably be pretty good.

What's funny is that apple already attempted to make a console that epically failed called the pippin or something. It had next to nothing.

Completely correct dear sir. Have a cookie. If my memory serves correctly the console they made was the worst selling console (I don't think that that is counting portable consoles(As in psp's ect)) in history. So a great achievement for them.

It'd basically be a Wii that cost $3,000 or so. Also, it would have an Apple logo on it, therefor making the price appropriate.

...It would have a single button to do all the commands, it would cost twice as much as similar consoles, while having reduced features and capabilities, but would be increadibly user friendly, and it would be white, thin, streamlined, and the name would be prefixed with a darn i.

The controller will only have one button: the walkthrough button.

It will also not support electricity and will not be able to use any game engines. It will have it's own engine that cant really do anything.

And it will cost $2000

If Apple made a gaming console, people would buy it regardless of features or games available, and would still proclaim it to be the greatest device ever invented because you can look through iTunes with it.

It would be an overpriced piece of tat with no games, that would look pretty but in the end would be just set in the corner of the room, unused and gather dust.

It would force you to download itunes 10.0 then it wouldn't run until you shelled out £120 for new software:

Oh yeah, and it would be white, overpriced and cripple developers who wanted to create cross platform games for their 'i play' and it would sell by the fuckload.

That's appalling! More proof you can't truly be part of the Apple Reich unless you have deep pockets to buy the newest white, shiny iWank bit of technology on release day.

And once you've bought the latest i overpricedbrandedpieceoftechnology, you best start saving for the unavoidable software upgrade.

It would be a hit with all those indie gamers because every other console would become too mainstream.

"Apple don't make a console, but if they did, it would probably be the best console in the world."

Oh, sorry. Wrong company....
