If Apple made a console Steve Ballmer would have something stupid to say about it.
You could play it with an iOS device.
The next Xbox would have some suspiciously similar features.
It would be adored to a ridiculous extent by many.
It would be vehemently hated to a ridiculous extent by many.
It would contain chrome.

I don't suppose you can tell me off-hand which features Windows has "borrowed" from OSX?

Spotlight search, Expose(Aero something on Windows), the dock/taskbar, widgets/gadgets.

If Apple made a console it would be so overpriced that we would forgive Sony for selling the PS3 at launch for $600, oh, and it would look really pretty.

And that would be pretty much it.

Absolutely none of which were invented by Apple, and moreover many of which aren't in Windows 7: Every single one of these features either a) isn't in Windows (Exposé) or b) was implemented in KDE 3 before it happened in OSX (search applet, widgets/gadgets).

If Apple made a console, they'd better keep the same pricing policies as in the AppStore. No getting screwed over by retailers for me!

Aero peek in Windows is pretty similar to Exposé. And I never said that Apple invented any of those features, I simply noted that Microsoft often takes ideas from its competitor - I think it's more likely that MS would take an idea because it is popular as implemented by their rival than get it from somewhere else. I apologise if I came across as a fanboy, I wasn't exactly putting effort into coming up with actual insightful predictions with my first post.

It would have no games.

Apple can't deal with 3rd party software, and I can't imagine how terrible an original IP would be.
