I hated it. I never bought it for the 360, and I wont buy it for the ps3. I played it at a friends house before I bought it like I do with all my games and after the first few levels I could barely summon the enthusiasm to rent it and finish playing. It was terrible. The only reason I even considered finishing it was because of my endearing enthusiasm to finish reading any story I start and a video game story is no exception.

Most of Halo's popularity is because the original Xbox finally got a decent game + MS Hype.

No it was like saying "Peanut butter A was nice, Peanut butter B was stale, even when bought new." And the "better" peanut butter is of course avaliable. Hell, its even CHEAPER than the newer inferior option.... I will play halo 1 by choice and halo 3 only by peer pressure...
