...when this baby [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UrBh8ygcqdE&fmt=22] hits eighty eight miles-per-hour, you're gonna see some serious shit."

I heard these things [http://kotaku.com/5155901/see-the-burnout-legendary-cars-in-action] are out today and I was all filled with joy. I mean christ, who here can honestly say they do not like the idea of taking these iconic cars, drive them around a bit and then powerslide off a mountain into the back end of a bus?

But then I was hurt. I couldn't find any information on the PC release and it turns out we're getting it late. Ah well.

What do you guys think of these new additions to Burnout Paradise?

I'm sorry, but my computer's a mute, and the thing that popped instantly into my mind was, "Nananananananana- Batman!

"I mean... Leader! I love the Leader!"

I don't really care for driving games - they all seem same to me. The only one I managed to play and enjoy for more than an hour was Need for Speed Underground.

BATMAN??
Where does batman relate to the DeLorean?

I think it's a neat idea for the game, but I'm not a huge Burnout fan. I rented paradise and thought it was ok. Not a keeper for me.

Now Forza...THERE is a racing game I can sink my teeth into...and I do! Quite often!

But, to end 'on topic', I think it's pretty cool. Especially the DeLorean.
Back to the Future is awesome.

That particular car can yes, its one of the four cars comming as DLC for the game. There IS a demo of Paradise available for all the systems its out for so if you are iffy, give it a go.

The PC demo is a limited time-period trial of the game, multi player, events etc, so I would suggest you go for that if your PC is capable of running it (shouldnt be too bad, its a renderware game so its port is very good). I suggest using a controller for the game. There are some limitations but there is enough to keep you going.

Burnout Paradise Trial [http://download.nvidia.com/downloads/nZone/demos/nzd_BurnoutParadiseOB_PC.zip].

There are also three-race demos for PS3 and 360.

Wish it looked a little more like a Delorean, it should also have the blue streaking across the car during boost to give it that "time travel" effect.

I don't care about racing games in general, they bore me. But flying back to the future cars, Ecto 1 and the nightrider car DO interest me

I all of a sudden want to play Burnout Revenge again. And also make a contraption in Gmod so that it explodes whenever you go faster than a cerain speed.

Give it a go, you may be surprised. I certainly was, I share your comments on racing games but its just so complete I couldn't help myself.

Really?, I'm a racing game freak, i've never owned a Burnout game though.
Although while being a freak I'm the type to go for the fatest possible racing game created.

Paradise doesn't appeal to me because having so many race tracks means you can't master a certain track with a certain car, it feels disjointed, although I must admit... with ecto1, i'm gonna have to say it sounds sexier.

While it is an open world game with so many tracks, you can indeed master times as every single road has a time score to beat from one end to the other. I think the longest one is 3/4 minutes?

However true, there is no race itself you can really beat yourself at.

yeah I see what you mean, but owning a million permutations of possibly boring tracks, when a game has few tracks with a few cars it means the designers had to create lots of tracks, and test them to see which was the most fun to "own".

Sorry I'm being negative in your thread!, i'll make my own thread and mumble and moan to myself?! :D

I found that with V Rally, lots of tracks, but most where boring to race, take Sega Rally, only 4 tracks but immense fun to learn and beat them.

You're not being negative, everything you say is not only valid but so literate my frontal lobe is humping my forehead.

Eh at V-Rally. It wasn't a great game anyway. The cars controlled like arses with wheels, the tracks were samey, the interface was just bad.... eh.

I wont bug you, but seriously, give the PC trial a try if you can run it. Much win to be had =]

So I made your brain have sex with your skull, yeah I know what your thinking, I got a way with the ladies. "wink wink"

I'll give it a try, once I finally buy a PS3, its on my list of second hand buys, but I dont like the way the later revisions of Burnout cars handle.... i've played the games, but as time went by it was less about doing that perfect powerslide and zoning and more about the spectacul to fill the boost bar to negate that poor slide you did on a prior turn.

I wasn't gonna buy this game, but the OP has convinced me to give it a try, with his charm and charisma.

Kudos, and I'm a kinetic person not an aural person.
