I'm moraly oppossed to pokemon, capturing animals and taking them out of the wild to make them compete against their will combat for money until one of them is blugeoned unconscious. It's sick, how is it different to cock fighting or illegal dog fights? It seems to be an entire economy and culture based soley around animal fighting. Bizzare.

hmm i'd start of with a bulbasaur and then get growlithe, yanma, abra, magicarp and evee

If pokemon were real I wouldn't force them to fight each other for entertainment and sport.

I'd start out with an Onix as my starter. Seriously nothing beats a small one foot high egg (I didn't see my character walking with a giant egg behind him in Gold/Silver) evolving into a 20 foot long snake made of rocks. Then he could evolve into a god damn Steelix, it gets longer and turns into a giant metal snake.

I'd then get a Magikarp (Gyarados), Elekid (Electrabuzz), Cubone (Marowak), Doduo (Dodrio), and finally Flareon.
