You know, meaning the new favourite sport.And living in Germany,I fear our nations favourite sport would turn either to boxing(would be ok I guess)or biathlon, which would be extremely terrible.And dangerous, cos this sport includes a gun and this wouldn be the best choice regarding hooliganism.

I prefer Rugby Union anyway. Oh, and OP: Change the thread title. It is not soccer. It was invented by the English who called it football. Every country in the world save the US calls it football. The USA is the only country in the world which calls it soccer, and their football isn't anything to do with using the feet, except to run. It's as close to football as tennis or swimming is. It's just bastardised rugby league. So change the title to 'football', not 'soccer', okay?

Actually I'm fairly sure that either golf or fishing are the world's most popular sports.

Anyway, I would be all for football not existing, I can't stand it. Not only do I find it unbelievably boring to watch but I hate the general mentality of a lot of football fans - the fact that fans need to be separated into different parts of the stands doesn't say much for the supporters.

The trouble with football not existing (as a couple of people have already mentioned) is that there wouldn't be rugby... Maybe if football had only existed until rugby was invented.
