If the internet was destroyed, never to be repaired again, how would it affect you and the world?

That would be bad at an international level. Too much business, government, economy, etc, depends on the internet to function at a base level.

Also, it would suck major balls.

I'd also try and motivate people to donate money to "The Grid" so it goes up faster. "The Grid" is basically The Internet version 2. Then, when that goes up, it'd be okay.

Also, I might be remembering it wrong. It might not be called "The Grid."

I'd be absolutely depressed, because there's a lot of people I consider "very good friends" I only have internet contact with. Then I'd start working towards the end of finding some way to replace what was lost, wether it would be successful or not. After that, I really don't know.
