if you could be a game character (preferably well known) who would it be?

Lavos. Mainly because he's the first character I can think of with an extremely long lifespan, and I would also get access to different time periods, technology, and I could sleep well at night (figuratively) knowing I'd be bringing us closer towards the perfect organism. Unless a handful of ragtag teenagers team-up and destroy me, but really, what are the odds of that?

Failing that, Auron (FFX), Waka (Okami), or HK-47(KOTOR).
