either the solid sword gundam from gundam 00(cant remember the name) or the latest version of lancelot from code geass.

That's an easy one for me. Japanese mecha as a starters. Then I reduce my choices down to the Gundam universe. Preferably Strike Freedom from the Seed Destiny Series or Exia and 00 Raiser from the Gundam 00 series. All multipurpose suits. Though If I have to choice one-purpose-suit I'd go for the Sniper Mecha from Gundam 00 - Dynames. Nerai utsu~!
I just love that thing. Even though it can't use stairs properly, may slightly damage the buildings it moves around and the fact that I'm terrified of what this closely resembles (spiders)... I want one.
