WOH woh woh, hold on here. Just because they took out the H-to-H combat skill doesn't mean they've taken out hand combat at all. All Bethesda is doing is merging a lot of the rendundant stats into one which, IMO, is a good move. I got tired of seeing lists upon lists of stats that I would probably never give a second glance to.
Fair enough but I'm allowed to be bitter over their announcements until they prove me wrong. D=
I'm gunna buy the game regardless so I vote I'm entitled to at least that.

I'd gladly give up the acrobatics stat if they have a more fluid calculation for it, or just more support for platforming in general but until I see evidence for those existing I'm unhappy with the decision.

Hand to Hand I have an issue with because I was hoping they devoted a lot more attention to it this time so that I could enjoy being a monk class. I don't want a sword user that hold his own without his weapon.
I want Katanagatari's protagonist. A man who is a sword and thus is cursed to being unable to wield a sword of his own.
Absolutely terrible with all forms of weapon but mastery of his own body enough to be called a blade.

I will sacrifice many to hasten the arrival of the next TimeSplitters game and ensure that will not have stupid shit like regenerating health and all the other bilge that modern FPS's encourage.

Phantom Dust would probably be on the top of my list. I've got a lot of ideas to make a really fun game even better.
Oh and Gotcha Force.

- Prince of Persia (2008) - The "reboot" came out several years ago and ended on a huge cliffhanger. The promise of more Prince in a new game, one that answers a few questions about his enigmatic past while raising the stakes with the unleashed Ahriman reeking havoc throughout the world, was quickly ignored in favor of an ill-advised cash-in for the Prince of Persia movie with an unnecessary and pretty much ignored return to the Sands of Time trilogy instead. I love the Sands of Time trilogy too, but that story has been done and concluded, while the new Prince remains painfully far from closure. Does Ubisoft remember this game even exists?
A lot of Prince of Persia fans didn't like like the 2008 game. I actually like it a lot. It was a beautiful game and the platforming was insanely fun (you were pretty much platforming the entire time). The enemies sucked, but that's easy to improve. Prince of Persia isn't really about combat to me anyways.

On a more realistic scale, Persona 5. Oh gods, Perosna 5.
Yes, yes, a thousand times yes!!

As for an original thought from me...I'd love to see another story for Kyle Hyde of Hotel Dusk/Last Window fame. I think he's a great character, the story is excellent, and while the gameplay may not be "earth shattering," it worked and had some interesting puzzles.

Oh, and Ghost Trick deserves a sequel. I don't know how, but it should get one.

I will have to go ahead and say Shadowgate. Yes I know there was one made for N64. But like O.O it was an eye sore.

Prince of Persia (2008) was considered a bad remake. Many fans of the Prince of Persia series did NOT like the game at all. Thats why they made the move tie in for Sand of Time. They pretty much made sure they would never go back to this reboot since it was so dislike.

However, they did release DLC that tied up the ending and answered those questions.

Edit: and now that I think about it.

MediEvil 3!
Prince of Persia (2008) was NOT considered a bad remake. It received excellent review scores, holds a high metacritic, has good fan scores and feedback, and it sold exceptionally well too (better than Two Thrones, Forgotten Sands, and even Sands of Time - it stands at nearly 3 million copies total).

It had some seriously FLAWS, I won't deny you that (the Prince came across as a jerk, the gameplay was too simple and easy, there was no difficulty curve at all), BUT that's ignoring all the things that many, many, MANY fans loved: the unique and bold narrative, the stunning and incomparable visual style, the lush and sweeping soundtrack, the shifting nature of the world from dead to exploding with beauty and life, Elika in every facet, and certainly some of the most thrilling platforming segments in any game (the exploding blimp fight against the Wizard left me breathless).

A sequel could absolutely and easily address and fix ANY issues anybody had - and isn't that what Sequels do? Would we throw Mass Effect aside because of a choppy framerate, long elevators, clunky combat, inventory problems, and funny glitches? Would you throw out Assassin's Creed 2 just because the first one was, really, quite awful, boring, mundane, needlessly confusing, and cumbersome? Sequels can exist to fix the mistakes of their predecessors.

Prince of Persia was not a failure, by ANY stretch of the imagination, though I know many people don't care for it and they hear that often from other vocal and disappointed fans. I'm with you; I think it could be better. BUT it still did so much right, and I absolutely love the journey and charm the game has, unlike anything in this overstuffed FPS market. I'll take a game with Elika sassing the Prince while poignantly debating the ethics of damning the world for the sake of love while they trapeze themselves over bottomless pits in gorgeous Persian fantasy vistas over yet another dull-brown military shooter or shameless movie cash-in.

Where do I start? Prince of Persia 2008, Legacy of Kain, a new Army of Two, another stab at a 3D Bionic Commando, an improved Bourne game, Unreal (not the tournament games, the original(and no, Unreal 2 doesn't count)), and Deadly Tide (look it up). I wouldn't mind an improved sequel to Brink either, and Activision could use a b**** slap to remind them to release True Crime: Hong Kong.

Hop to it, developers!

Edit: Also, SKIES OF ARCADIA!

Im probably going to be the only one to say this but, Wario Land 5. The old game boy titles were really fun, and Wario is just an over all awesome character that doesnt seem to get much love from Nintendo.

...Which one it would be? And why?

For me I would a new soul reaver. Hell, no kain please I'm asking to the re-coming of Raziel. To the because... I dunno, I simply loved the LoK saga more then GoW, as I find Raziel why cooler than many "heroes", I like is hating soul to survive, and is lack of morality talk when it come to split a human being in half. Or the lack of splitting a human being in half while crying for is dead wife and lil daughter...
I was saying as I was opening the thread "I'll totally post about LoK and wanting them to finish it" but the OP was the original ninja. I love it and totally agree. Another would be new single player KOTOR game.

I got a good one. How about an actual sequel to Legend of Zelda. It's crazy that there's been 4 consoles, not counting the handhelds, that have come out since the original game, but Zelda II is still at the end of the crazy screwed up timeline and the new game being devoloped is yet another prequel. At this point I just ignore the timeline altogether and just think of it like the legends of King Arthur. He pulls Excalibur out of the stone to become king but later gets the same sword from the Lady in the Lake.

Other than that. Bully 2. We need a Bully 2.

I would kind of like to give Command & Conquer 4 a redo. Seriously, and take off that "You must be online all the time" crap. Or at least consoles... console people are good people anything piratey we do voids the warranty.
This, oh dear god this. And I want them to fix the entire god damn game play, after somewhere around 10 C&C games they decide to change the prove formula? what is up with that, I just couldn't play it.

WTF Bethesda, No hand to hand?
I have played EVERY one of there RPG titles as a hand to hand fighter to date. Now I don't even.....
All they said is taht they are removing the Hand to Hand skill, it doesn't mean there will be no hand to hand fighting, for all we know they could be combining it with blunt weapons.

We need a new Resistance 2. I'd want the story and all that to stay the same, but I want the gameplay to be more like Resistance 1 (i.e., better). Not to say that Resistance 2 was shitty, but, goddammit, I just want a health bar and tons of awesome weapons strapped to me back. Is that so much to ask? :(
And a god damn co-op mode

Far Cry 2. I wrote a good post of my complaints of it earlier, and while I do like the game I wish they would have given it a different name. Why? Because it isn't a Far Cry game in the least.
To be fair, there was only one other Far Cry game so claiming it isn't a Far Cry game in the least is a little far fetched, that being said I wouldn't mind another Far Cry that was more like the original

Dragon Valor. Add better graphics, voice acting, more moves and more diversity and it would be a classic!

I think I'd like to see a well done third L4D game to make up for l4d2.
Nothing was wrong with Left for Dead 2.

On Topic: a Resident Evil in the fashion of the first three, which are the greatest of them all to me anyways.

I would want a New KotOR 2 in the sense that I want to see the product that "KotOR II: The Sith Lords" was supposed to be, covering some of the plots that went nowhere, the plot threads that were unfinished and the other locations or characters that appeared to exist or be more prominent, only to be rushed out or pulled from under you.

The story of how KotOR II was rushed and not being the studio wanted is well known- so I would just like to see the game as it was meant to be, or maybe even if BioWare did it in the first place and didnt hand it off to Obsidian

I'll throw in with the Legacy of Kain crowd to see Raziel in action again. Other than that, how about King's Quest? I can only replay the first few so many times, so someone get on that.
