Gears of War's combat with a good story and freedom to make your own choices.

Oh, wait, just 14 more days.
What is this wonderous game that I have somehow not heard of? I must know! TELL ME!
Mass Effect 2, I believe.
Mass Effect 2 is out in two weeks? I thought it was being released at the end of next month. This is good news. It means I won't run out of things to do after I finish Silent Hill 1,3, Origins, and Shattered Memories, Okami, Sands of Time, Final Fantasy VIII, and Shadow of the Colossus... I have a feeling that I'll be busy for the next few weeks.

I'd take the writers of BioWare, and combine them with the dev-team from Valve.

After that, I'd take the newly formed BioValve (Or is it ValveWare?) and toss in John Carmack along with his idTech 5 engine.

Marinate overnight, grill over medium heat, season to taste and BAM:

We get TheJesusGame(TM).

Mmmm...

Warhammer 40k Dawn of war 2's squad play + Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon gameplay.

All set in the Warhammer 40k world.

Shadow of Colossus style platforming and art desgin, with the overall something to do-ness of WoW, or some other sandbox style of game with alot of objectives to complete. SoTC was pretty, but my god it was boring (for me at least, and the main character was a bit of a douche)

Oh. I think I'll go cry myself to sleep now...

I was thinking Warhammer 40k set in the spore galaxy.

Spore would have been great-- if the whole thing was steeped in warhammer 40k

Could you imagine dropping out of the warp and finding a necron tomb world hidden in the dust surrounding a pulsar? Then raiding it with a squad of grey knights to recover a priceless artifact from the dark age of technology?

Or cruising along and finding a few regiments of imperial guard fighting off a superior ork force, and having to choose between evacuating population or rescuing the guard...
