If you could decide a game to be adapted to a movie, what game would you pick, and what director and actors would you pick for it? Also, if you'd like to you can decide what era the movie "was made" in, like "I'd like to see a Matt Hazard (Eat Lead) movie made in the 80's with Jason Statham from today, directed by Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor (same guys who made Crank)".

I would love to see James Cameron use his Avatar skills combined with Peter Jackson's awesomeness and make a Warcraft movie, because

1. Epic story.
2. It would be embarrassing to see actors in costumes compared to how cool they could look in CG.
3. It could be the most kick-ass thing since Lord of the Rings.

Now that I think about it, I'd freaking love to see a Matt Hazard movie from the 80's D:

Every good game ever.

And they would be written and directed by Uwe Boll.

And all the films would suck.

That way, we would never have to be afraid of evil corporations making awful adaptions to our beloved games.

Call it a bittersweet compromise.

That being said, an official Left 4 Dead movie would be nice if they get Peter Jackson to work on it.
No. No no no no no no no. Peter Jackson is into ultraviolence and while Left 4 Dead is brutally violent, his style wouldn't work. If they got the Valve team to work on it, then it would be a different story.

Hideo Miyazaki does Zelda. I don't care if it was like Advent Children (a gift to fans) I'd enjoy it immensely.

Brütal Legend.
Heavy Metal OST, epic imagery, great potential for a fantasy-action-film. With Heavy Metal. Director: Quentin Tarantino

I can't believe I didn't think of that! The only thing that would be a problem is that the game let's you decide whether you should be good or bad, but a movie character can't really chose.

Other than that, I believe Mass Effect could become the most awesome movie trilogy of all time. I know it'll be one of the most awesome game trilogies of all time, that's for sure.

Isn't Hideo Miyazaki retired?

about the mass effect good or bad, they could do 2 movies? with one is paragon and one is renegade, or since commander shepard is the hero ofc he weill be pictured in paragon all the time since you feel with him
