While I agree with the damn quick time events Halo was far to influential to get rid of (see pong) and the original Halo was a great game for consoles and brought about the console FPSera81 said:

See that title of the forum? Generall DISCUSSION. Just throwing out a list of games is hardly conducive to discussion is it? Would you care to elaborate on why these games should be erased? Especially Mass Effect, with it's fantastically detailed hard-sci-fi world and for pushing conversation engines far beyond Bethesda's Stand-Perfectly-Still characters.Ultratwinkie said:

Two Worlds, simply because it gave me cancer. That is the worst game in existence. The graphics suck, the controls suck, the voice acting sucks. There is absolutely nothing positive about this game. I wish it was erased from history just from pure hatred.
What's with all the Halo haters? Most of these people don't like it just because they want to be seen as diferent. Just to set the record straight, the proper order of best to worst is Halo, Halo 3, then Halo 2. Halo 2 isn't bad, the online just wasn't that great. Halo was the original FPS as we know them today, so if there wasn't a Halo, There more than likely wouldn't be a CoD. Or Gears of War.

For experimental reasons I'd pick Super Mario, just to see how platformers evolved.
For hatred reasons Final Fantasy 7. The others were alright, but the ridiculous amount of fanboy-ism this game gets is just scary. I've played a good portion of it and it honestly does not seem any better than any of the other Final Fantasy's.

I'd erase:
1. All sports games (besides racing,reason for this is my username)
2. All fantasy based mmos (elves, orcs, all that bs)
3. Everything made by Shigeru Miyamoto (just to see what would happen)

MMORPGs. I have lost too much "Sarah's quality time" to these games. Then again... I'm sure if they weren't there he would find something else to play. OKAY I take it back! The MMORPGs can stay. I got mad enough one day, the insane hours of it stopped.
SO, without a doubt I choose RAPE GAMES. Never seen one, never played one, don't know anyone who has. BUT - that's just so wrong. You play shooters to team up with other people (fake or real) to win points, have fun, character build, shoot stuff because it's always the "right" thing to do in it's setting (fighting off zombies, in the middle of war, because your cousin sent you on a mission to unload boxes of a freighter and that guy got in the way, etc.) I fail to see how rape can be an acceptable genre, which no matter how you spin it, your violating someones (I'm going to assume they're often women too) body in a torturous, violent, psychologically irreparable way. Sexual violence in games shouldn't exist. When you shoot someone they're dead, they're not going to need years of therapy and aurorix to get over it.
