The tails of a Vulpix from Pokemon, I was going to say Ninetails, but I feel that would be a bit much.

I'd have to go with everyone else, being able to support my weight from my rear end with a monkey tail is just too good an opportunity to pass up.

I love cats(I love every kind of cat... I just wanna hug all of them*). But I don't think I'd want a tail in the first place.
But I guess cat tail would be my primary choice.

Sorry, but that tail is just too darn awesome looking. Not to mention no one would dare mess with you. Acid blood would be questionable though... maybe if it was only confined to the tail. Being able to launch yourself hundreds of feet would be useful for catching the bus. xD Crawling on walls would be pretty sweet to.

In all seriousness though, I'd like a tail that could be from a monkey or, cat since those tails look extremely similar. I would dye it purple though since it would probably be a natural blonde color, dirty or otherwise. I would say 9 fox tails but then every Japanese person I meet would mistake me for a woman and/or demonic entity and try to sleep with me...oh what the hell, one fox tail.

I'd take a monkey tail, would probably help me with my Rock Climbing.
It would depend on what I'd need it for. Obviously a monkey tail offers certain tactile benefits, like carrying extra stuff or letting you swing around like a mutated Assassin.
Monkey tail wins the thread. Being able to support my own weight and carry shit whilst keeping my hands free would simply be awesomesauce.
A ferret tail would be pretty cool. So long! So fluffy! Seriously, those things are the same length as the spine! Having a tail that long would be cool.
