Telepathy (the sort that lets you read and control the minds of others): there is no power like the power of the mind.
Pyrokinesis: there's just something about being able to create and control fire with my mind...
Flight (or at least the ability to jump really high and really far and land safely): I remember playing City of Heroes for the first time and getting the ability to fly. It filled me with such joy that I spent hours just flying around the city, landing on tall buildings, and then jumping off and flying some more. Maybe in my next life I'll be born as a bird...
And to all you people choosing omnipotence as your power, you should consider what that would entail. People always think that omnipotence is being all knowing and all controlling, and think that that would be cool. But really, it means you would cease to exist as an independent consciousness. You would become the universe. Think about it: if you knew all and controlled all, then anything that happened would be the result of your actions, and yours alone. You would know the entire history and future of the universe, from beginning to end. Every act taken by every person, alien, and atom, everywhere. They wouldn't have a choice in the matter--you would understand reality as one eternal instant, as if everything were a painting already completed, a comic strip stretched before your eyes. Once a comic strip is written, the characters in it do not have any choice, right? It's already been drawn.
The only changes that would occur to the universe would be changes made by you, as if you were a painter adding things to a painting. And you could change anything you wanted, anywhere you wanted, any-when you wanted. But you would also already know the results of your changes...
Consciousness is defined just as much by its limitations as it is by its abilities. Unlimited consciousness is the same as no consciousness. Therefore, omnipotence would be both the ultimate power and the ultimate lack of power.
