Okay, yeh, they're fun but it'll wear off after a while 'woo I can fling stuff at the wall without using my arms' or 'woo I can teleport myself to a different place in the same room (unless there's an open door)'.
What I would really like is a Scarab from Halo, even more fun.
Believe me, you'd always have a parking space, you'd never get bored of waking up and looking out of your window thinking 'yeh, I get to go to school/work in that'

Don't forget that you'd have to hire people to crew the damn thing. And feed them. Oh, and the OP said one object, so no TIEs or star destroyers to defend it from the criminals and teenagers who'll inevitably blow it up.
A nice lightsaber would be much more useful. Or medichlorions (is that how its spelled?)

Well, my first thought was the Portal gun, which I would still want, but...

I want a Giant Robot. Ideally, MEGAS XLR. But I dunno if there's a game of that. So if there isn't, I want the portal gun. Because I could make a portal onto a plane, and then wait till it lands, then make the other portal. BAM! Free travel.
