If you could legally own any one non-fictional weapon, what would it be and why?

The L98, probably the A1 cadet variant

I've been trained to use it in cadets, though I've long since expired the time I'd have to have retaken a test to prove my competency. But yeah, this, as I can sort of operate one, know its weight and have done drill with it.

All in all, I dislike guns though.

Honestly, I'd go with a German Ruger (one of the old ones you imagine Nazis with.) Why? Well, practicality, more then anything - very little recoil, in comparison to, say, an AK-47 or rifle, which makes it easier to use, and hey, it still uses bullets, so while people I'm shooting at are saying "Bwaaaah-ha-ha-ha-haaa he's using a really tiny gun what a ponce!" I can catch them between the eyes easier and still kill them. :3

Well, either that, or something that launches grenades/rockets/whatever. If only because you don't have to aim explosives that much. Or maybe just some pressure-sensitive mines, or pressure-sensitive dynamite. So, yes, either give me something I can aim easily, or give me something that doesn't need aiming, in essence.

A sword with the same kind of blade as the first form of the Goddess Sword from Skyward Sword. Not fictional if it can be made.
