It's interesting how most people go with dragons or werewolves. I personally could not stand being a werewolf... way too much hair >.>

I don't think anyone has gone the route of a vampire (no, not the twilight kind.. and it makes me sad I have to clarify that now) yet either.

A phoenix is my favourite mythical creature. So that? I love the colours, I love they keep rising from the ashes, I love the healing tears.
Maybe even a mermaid. Those pretty, Disney ones though, not the ones that are usually depicted. I love swimming, the thought of living underwater sounds pretty awesome.
